AgX Fair – eXperience, eXchange and eXhibit all you have to offer in agrifood systems education

The World Food Forum’s AgX Fair showcases formal and non-formal education projects from educators and young people around the world. Our goal is to recognize excellence and share good practices within agrifood systems education.

Throughout 2022 and 2023, the World Food Forum’s Education programmes has held the “Global Education Fair” each year to recognize excellence and share good practices of agrifood systems education. This showcase was launched in response to video submissions, received through FAO colleagues and connections, from young talented scientists and changemakers, across the world. In subsequent years, the competition has grown to provide an opportunity to receive additional projects from across the world, and provide young people with an opportunity to take part in the World Food Forum’s flagship event.

Each year the AgX Fair invites educators and youth to share their projects from around the globe. The theme for this year 2024 is: “Good Food for All, for Today and Tomorrow”.

Outstanding projects will be offered the opportunity to present their initiatives to a panel of expert judges for review and tailored advice on how they can be improved, culminating in a presentation during the WFF flagship week.
