The World Food Forum (WFF) Global Youth Action Initiative (Youth Initiative) is a global platform for youth engagement that brings together young people from around the world to drive action for more sustainable, inclusive and resilient agrifood systems. Through a growing network of spanning 62 countries and reaching tens of thousands of young people, the WFF Youth Initiative supports youth-led action and empowers the next generation of changemakers to contribute to agrifood systems transformation. brings together young people from around the world to drive action for more sustainable, inclusive and resilient agrifood systems.

Under the 2026 theme, “Innovate today. Nourish tomorrow.”, the WFF Youth Initiative celebrates the power of ideas, collaboration and action to shape a better food future. Innovation is not only about new technologies, it is also about reimagining policies, strengthening communities, preserving knowledge and creating opportunities that improve lives while protecting our planet.

Young people are at the forefront of this transformation. As innovators, entrepreneurs, farmers, researchers, advocates and changemakers, they are developing solutions to some of the most pressing challenges facing agrifood systems today.
