Call for events at the World Food Forum 2026

The World Food Forum (WFF) Secretariat is pleased to invite Members of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and partners of the Forum, to apply to engage in the 2026  WFF flagship event to be held from 8 to 16 October at the FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy.

The WFF flagship event provides a global platform for dialogue and collaboration among young people, policymakers, scientists, innovators, investors and partners, in support of solutions aligned with the 2026 theme: “Innovate today. Nourish tomorrow”. Members and partners are invited to participate through the following engagement opportunities:

 

Side events:

Members and partners are invited to apply to host side events, contributing to agrifood systems transformation through youth leadership, science and innovation, and investment. Side events will take place from 13 to 16 October 2026 and will feature interactive, solution-oriented formats aligned with the Forum’s three pillars: Global Youth Action, Science and Innovation, and Hand-in-Hand Investment

Youth Exhibitions:

Members and partners are invited to apply to host Youth Exhibition Booth showcasing youth-led solutions and initiatives for agrifood systems transformation. Exhibitions will be held from 12 to 16 October 2026 in the Atrium of the FAO headquarters.

Youth-led Biocultural and Food Heritage Pavilion sessions:

Members and partners are invited to apply to host sessions at the Biocultural and Food Heritage Pavilion, a curated engagement space within the Atrium dedicated to showcasing diverse, youth‑led cultural and food heritage initiatives. Pavilion sessions will be held from 12 to 16 October 2026 in the Atrium of the FAO headquarters in Rome, bringing together organizations, communities and practitioners to showcase evolving food traditions, knowledge systems and practices as expressions of biocultural relationships between people, nature and agrifood systems. It serves as a platform for dynamic sessions, dialogue and interactive experiences that highlight the role of food heritage in promoting sustainable and resilient agrifood systems.
