Ireland National Youth Food Summit
The World Food Forum (WFF) is thrilled to announce Ireland’s National Youth Food Summit, hosted by the National Youth Food Forum (NYFF), which is Ireland’s World Food Forum National Chapter. The event will take place on 20 September at Airfield Estate, County Dublin. Alongside Ireland's Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) and the Irish Forum for International Agricultural Development (IFIAD), NYFF will bring together young food enthusiasts, sustainability advocates and industry experts for a day of insightful discussions, hands-on workshops and networking.
An Action-Packed Day at Airfield Estate
Airfield Estate, a working urban farm and food education center is known for its commitment to sustainable agriculture and food education promoting farm-to-fork principles.
The National Youth Food Summit will feature a series of interactive workshops, panel discussions and a career fair, all centered around agrifood systems, sustainability, innovation and food security, while attendees will have the chance to hear from leading voices in the food industry.
This event underscores Ireland's continued commitment to youth empowerment in sustainable agrifood systems and serves as an inspiration for other nations and Youth-related initiatives to take action.
