Are you based in Rome, Italy, passionate about agrifood systems and want to experience organizing a high-level international event?
The World Food Forum (WFF) is looking for volunteers for the 2025 WFF flagship event, set to take place from 10 to 17 October at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy, with the theme “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future”.
This is your chance to be a part of a transformative experience and help shape the future of agrifood systems. As a volunteer, you will be at the center of the action, supporting our mission to drive positive change and foster meaningful interactions among global leaders, experts and agrifood systems stakeholders.
The event is organized around three key pillars of global youth action, science and innovation, and investment and will feature a diverse range of activities. Volunteers will assist in facilitating sessions, workshops, meetings, exhibitions and other activities on site.
The WFF is seeking enthusiastic volunteers who are available during the week of 13 October, as well as those who can support pre-event preparations from 10 to 12 October. Volunteers are required to attend an introductory session on 10 October, in person.
During the event, you will have the chance to work in various areas such as Global Youth Action, Hand-in-Hand Investment Forum, Science and Innovation Forum, World Food Day and Rome Water Dialogue. While we will consider your preferences, please note that placement cannot be guaranteed.
Volunteers will gain valuable experience, network with industry leaders and peers from across the world, as well as contribute to the global movement for accessible, resilient and sustainable agrifood systems. Language skills are an asset.
Do not miss this opportunity! Apply by 17 September to be part of a global conversation that is shaping the future of food and agriculture.
