The World Food Forum 2024: Good food for all, for today and tomorrow.

Two Forks

05/06/2024

The Two Forks Hummus Shop was founded by partners Matan Levy and Charlotte Nycander in 2019. What began as a pop-up restaurant serving lunch only two days a week quickly grew to become a restaurant.

Their concept is simple: follow the seasons and work with all the wonderful local growers, brewers and food innovators in Malmö. They bring the flavors of the Levantine kitchen together with Swedish produce to create an experience that they feel represents their city and their hearts in the best way.

Working with food gives them purpose as individuals, as a community and as a society - not only because what they do is meaningful, but because it directly connects them to the ecosystem around them. For them, food is love and their mission, above all else, is loving people through food.

Two Forks is a member of the Malmö Food Council, the first food council of the Nordics, which worked with the World Food Forum to coordinate the Sustainable Gastronomy Restaurant Week locally in Malmö, Sweden. The organization strives for a more diverse and sustainable food system in Malmö by facilitating conversations and addressing issues across various food sectors.
