WFF Regional Webinar Marathon on International Youth Day 2025: Youth, Hand in Hand for a Better Agrifood Future

In celebration of International Youth Day, the World Food Forum (WFF)'s Global Youth Action Initiative (Youth Initiative) is proud to present the second edition of its youth marathon, this year in the form of a Regional Webinar Marathon, titled, “Youth, Hand in Hand for a Better Agrifood Future”.
Taking place on 12 August 2025, this global series of youth-led webinars will spotlight the work of WFF National Youth Chapters, offering young people everywhere the chance to engage, learn and lead in the transformation of agrifood systems. Organized in collaboration with the Decentralized Offices of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and WFF National Youth Chapters, the Regional Webinar Marathon reflects a growing global movement to amplify youth voices in shaping the future of our agrifood systems.
Building on the momentum of the 2024 WFF 24-Hour Events Marathon, this Regional Youth Marathon brings together young leaders, policymakers, civil society and development partners, to foster collaboration, encourage knowledge sharing and promote meaningful youth participation at all levels.
Each regional webinar will feature:
- Success stories from WFF National Youth Chapters, showcasing local youth-led initiatives and innovations;
- Engagement from governments and FAO representatives, highlighting how institutions are working hand-in-hand with youth; and
- Opportunities for young people to connect, participate and explore how to get involved, either by joining an existing National Youth Chapter or launching a new one.
Register now for the session in your region:
- Africa (RAF)
- Asia and the Pacific (RAP)
- Europe and Central Asia (REU)
- Latin America and the Caribbean (RLC)
- Near East and North Africa (RNE)
All webinars will be conducted in English, with the exception of the Latin America and Caribbean session, which will be held in Spanish and feature live interpretation in English. Additionally, the Near East and North Africa session will include live interpretation in Arabic and French.
The sessions will provide young participants with a space ask questions, share perspectives and explore ways to engage in agrifood systems transformation within their communities and countries. The WFF National Youth Chapters continue to expand as key platforms for youth leadership, dialogue and action.
Join the movement by registering for the session in your region, sharing your experiences using #WFFYouthMarathon2025, and discovering how you can join or launch a WFF National Youth Chapter. Whether online or on the ground, take action to shape a more sustainable and inclusive food future.
