Acerca del Capítulo nacional
As an archipelagic nation with over 17 000 islands and a population exceeding 270 million, Indonesia holds immense potential to lead innovations in agrifood systems. Despite ongoing efforts, challenges caused by changing consumption patterns and increasing food demands driven by population growth and urbanization persist (Indonesia Food Systems Summit Dialogues, 2021).
Addressing these necessitates a critical focus on youth involvement, the World Food Forum Indonesia National Chapter aims to tackle these issues by accelerating the transformation of agrifood systems through profound youth engagement and strategic collaboration with institutions like FAO Indonesia.
