The WFF collaborates with the country, liaison and regional offices of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to co-create actions at the country, regional and global levels. The engagements aim to scale impact and drive transformative youth initiatives that catalyze locally led agrifood systems development.

In line with this, the decentralized offices in collaboration and coordination with the WFF's programmes organize and implement activities and events. Moreover, the offices support and provide guidance to WFF National Chapters as they are being formed and as they undertake activities and projects in line with the WFF's mission and programmes.

At the WFF flagship event, FAO's decentralized offices hold Regional Forum events meant to engage a regional audience and mobilize actionable and out-of-the-box best practices and experiences from the regional and local levels to feed into the global deliberations on agrifood systems transformation. The events are streamed around the clock and complement the discussions, dialogues and interactive demonstrations at the forum.
