WFF National Chapters

What is a National Chapter

A WFF National Chapter is a self-organized national youth platform aligned to the principles and mission of the WFF and convened by a local network of partners/organizations. WFF National Chapters undertake activities and projects in line with the WFF's mission, tracking and mobilizing youth-led local action to help achieve more sustainable agrifood systems in their respective communities, cities and countries.

With National Chapters, young people have a platform to initiate and sustain solution building in their communities, inform policymaking in their countries and regions, and build lasting transformation in their local agrifood systems.

Our reach

The reach of the WFF National Chapters continues to grow! With the pioneering National Chapters in the Netherlands and Tanzania, the WFF has currently established 21 National Chapters in 5 FAO Regions. This includes Argentina, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malawi, Mauritania, Nepal, Peru, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Sierra Leone, Spain, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Together with Upcoming National Chapters in India, Kenya, South Africa, discussions are currently ongoing with a multitude of stakeholders to establish National Chapters in different regions around the globe!
