WFF Argentina Youth Chapter participates in Expoagro 2026 to strengthen youth engagement in agrifood systems
On 13 March 2026, the World Food Forum (WFF) Argentina Youth Chapter participated in Expoagro 2026, one of the leading agribusiness exhibitions in the country, contributing to activities that promote youth engagement in sustainable agrifood systems.
As part of the event, young participants from universities and institutions across Argentina took part in the national workshop “Creando sinergias para el futuro del agro”, which brought together youth-led organizations, academic institutions and sector actors to exchange perspectives and foster collaboration. The workshop created a space for dialogue among organizations working across innovation, production and policy, allowing participants to reflect on shared challenges and identify opportunities for joint action. The workshop also marked the launch of the Red Joven del Agro, a network designed to connect and strengthen youth-led initiatives across the sector.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in discussions on innovation, sustainable production, public policy and entrepreneurship, highlighting the importance of collaboration across diverse actors. The event also provided space to showcase ongoing initiatives, including the Youth Agrifood Innovation Lab, an initiative of the Chapter that aims to bring together young innovators, entrepreneurs and researchers to co-develop solutions and strengthen partnerships in agrifood systems.
These discussions contributed to strengthening coordination among organizations and advancing collective efforts to support youth participation. By bringing together a wide range of stakeholders, the event also helped expand networks and create new opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Through its participation in Expoagro, the Chapter continues to promote youth leadership and strengthen platforms that connect young people with key stakeholders across agrifood systems. It aims to ensure that youth voices are meaningfully integrated into processes shaping more sustainable, inclusive and resilient agrifood systems in Argentina.
