Near East and North Africa

Regional achievements

Since 2022, the WFF Near East and North Africa Youth Assembly has engaged over 900 young people through more than 15 consultations, identifying key regional priorities in agrifood systems. Building on this foundation, the 2023-2024 period saw over 400 participants refine these priorities, focusing on advancing sustainable agricultural practices, promoting inclusive education and improving marginalized groups' social and economic conditions.

Through targeted consultations and collaborative efforts, the Youth Assembly has shaped a strategy emphasizing policy reforms, technological innovation and youth empowerment in agrifood systems to drive a more inclusive and resilient future for the region.
