Call for Expressions of Interest:
Youth Assembly Partner Organizations

The World Food Forum (WFF) Youth Assembly, led by the Youth Policy Board (YPB), is inviting organizations to express their interest in co-organizing Thematic Youth Assembly sessions and consultations  in 2025.  As a global and inclusive platform, the Youth Assembly empowers young people and youth-led organizations to actively participate in key discussions on agrifood systems. It enables them to shape policies and solutions by developing joint recommendations that can influence intergovernmental processes and be translated into concrete programmatic actions.

In 2025, the Youth Assembly will focus on ten themes, addressing key challenges in agrifood systems transformation:

• Biodiversity Restoration, and Conservation
• Bioeconomy
• Climate Change
• Desertification, Land Degradation, and Drought
• Fisheries and Aquaculture
• Forestry
• Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment
• Land and Water
• Livestock
• Nutrition

By becoming a co-organizing partner, your organization will collaborate with the WFF Youth Assembly Secretariat and YPB members to:

• Shape high-impact sessions and consultations by providing organizational expertise, research, and innovative solutions.
• Engage youth voices in agrifood systems discussions through interactive and inclusive sessions and consultations.
• Nominate experts and moderators to contribute insights and facilitate dialogue.
• Enhance outreach and visibility by promoting sessions and consultations across global platforms.
• Ensure policy integration by helping present youth-led recommendations in intergovernmental agrifood systems decision making processes.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome organization s worldwide with:

• Proven expertise in the selected theme;
• A strong track record in agrifood systems, climate action, biodiversity, development or other relevant areas;
• Commitment to youth engagement and empowerment;
• The capacity to actively contribute to and collaborate with the WFF Youth Assembly Secretariat and YPB Members in organizing sessions and consultations.
