Local Action for a Better Food Future

The challenges facing our global agrifood systems are vast, demanding and complex. However, they are also inherently Local. The same is true for the many opportunities to tackle these challenges.

To foster global agrifood systems transformation, we need to "Think Global and Act Local"!

The World Food Forum (WFF) is committed to driving tangible impact by translating its transformative initiatives to the country/local level. By mobilizing youth-led local action through country-level national youth platforms and collaborating closely with the decentralized offices of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the WFF is empowering and catalyzing local youth leadership and action in changing the present and future of local agrifood systems for a better food future.

Get involved

From local initiatives to global partnerships, the WFF welcomes different individuals and organizations with a passion to drive progress on youth engagement and agrifood systems change at the local and national level.

Only through collective action can we create sustainable and equitable agrifood systems at the local and global levels. If you are interested in collaborating with and supporting localization initiatives or establishing/joining a WFF National Chapter, be sure to check out the WFF National Chapters Blueprint.
