Local Youth Action for a Better Food Future

While the challenges facing our agrifood systems are global, meaningful and lasting transformation must take root at the local level.

The WFF Youth Initiative establishes National Youth Chapters that mobilize local youth-driven initiatives through national youth platforms. These Chapters provide space for young people to connect, collaborate and scale local solutions for agrifood systems transformation. The National Chapter Blueprint outlines how Chapters are established.

The Chapters are established in close collaboration with FAO's Decentralized Offices to co-design impactful initiatives at local, regional and global levels.  They receive guidance and support from the Decentralized Office, operating within a strategic framework with tailored priorities, which the Chapters advance through youth-driven action.
